Job Summary: Responsible for providing diversified support services to meet hospital unit needs, including receiving, delivering, and shelving supplies within unit, ensuring adequate levels of unit stock items are maintained; cleaning and maintenance of specified unit areas and equipment; and transporting items and assisting nurse in transporting patients to other areas. The Support Services Associate is supervised and evaluated by the Manager of Respiratory Therapy
Specifications: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of inventory procedures and unit stock items, basic cleaning skills, and infection control policies and procedures required. Proficiency in the English language required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
