Job Summary: Under direct supervision of the Program Director, the Program Therapist evaluates, diagnoses and treats a wide range of psychosocial problems under the parameters of the program. By applying evidence-based individual and group therapy interventions to assist patients and their families in the stabilization of mood symptoms, the Program Therapist is instrumental in supporting patients as they achieve their highest level of psychosocial functioning.
Specifications: Master level or LCDP required. Independent clinical licensure preferred. Must be working towards independent licensure. (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT). 1-3 years of psychiatric and substance use Utilization Review experience required. Experience in a psychiatric setting is required. Training and experience in delivering CBT/DBT/ACT/Motivational Interviewing and other related evidence-based practices preferred. Must have an interest and commitment in delivering care to patients with complex psychiatric and substance use problems. Must be able to tolerate the stress of multiple demands of working in a fast-paced environment and working within a multi-disciplinary staff framework while providing utmost care to a vulnerable patient population.
