Job Summary: Performs duties as a member of research laboratory in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Individual will be responsible for performing experiments under the direction of the laboratory director, maintaining laboratory equipment, ordering supplies, maintaining required laboratory safety policies, maintaining lab notebook and assisting others with experiments. Individual will also supervise volunteers and train students, residents, and fellows in lab techniques as necessary.

Specifications: Bachelor of Science in biologic sciences and two full years of laboratory experience required. Experience in molecular biologic techniques preferred. Laboratory research experience, including data collection, molecular biology, basic computer skills (Excel, Word) is desired. Familiarity with basic techniques of cell culture, Western Blotting, Northern Blotting, real-time RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, PCR, cloning, and microscopy is preferred. Valid driver's license and access to an appropriately insured automobile required.
