Job Summary:

The Providence Center Clinical Therapist Serenity Team will provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Center or in the community. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, orientation, crisis intervention, counseling, screening, case management, client education, referral, treatment planning, and consultation for clients in the program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Master's Degree Required

Field of Study: Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field

Experience in Human Services field preferred

Rhode Island licensure required: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A; certification as Principal Counselor or Counselor accepted in lieu of licensure

Must have valid driver's license, registration, current inspection sticker and insured auto.

Bilingual Spanish preferred.
