Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Care New England Vice President of Strategic Growth and Marketing, the Strategic Growth and Communications (SGC) Business Manager is responsible for managing administrative, financial, and clerical functions to assist the SGC team in meeting the strategic needs of the Care New England business partners.

This role collaborates seamlessly with the internal SGC department coworkers and CNE business partners to ensure that projects and requests are delivered on-time and on-budget. This coordination is crucial to the success of the department as a whole and that of the relationships with every business partner across the organization.

This role will assist with triaging the many varied requests from each operating unit requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships within the department and across the system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Acts as a project manager for the Strategic Growth Plan, creating and maintaining project timelines, tasks, and progress.

Assists the Strategic Marketing Senior Manager and Strategic Specialists with proactive communication on project status and budget.

Coordinates the components of creative campaign development and production in partnership with the design team.

Oversees the department budget ensuring that invoices are processed, projects are on budget and vendor questions are answered.

Manages team assignments (both planned and unplanned) and ensures the team has the right people and resources to complete the project on time and within budget.

Coordinates new requests with business partner and Strategic Marketing Senior Manager.

Manages the overall Strategic Growth Team dashboard and project metrics.

Oversees quality control to ensure successful execution.

Assists the Vice President of Strategic Growth and Communications with coordinating routine meeting agendas and recording meeting notes.

Works closely with internal print shop services for printed materials to ensure quality and timeliness.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; 2-5 years’ experience in a comparable role.

Creative and analytical thinking.

Highly organized, Strong attention to detail.

Ability to quickly understand and analyze relevant information.

Effective communication skills.

Problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in software tools (ideally Asana, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Able to understand basic budget planning and tracking.
