Job Summary: The Sr. Business Office Representative is the key contact for patients requiring out parient services. The incumbent performs extensive computerized procedure scheduling duties, processes forms and paperwork, handles financial arrangements, provides clerical support, performs data entry, and other job-related duties. The incumbent serves as liaison between the patient and the department of medicine.
Specifications: Associates degree with three to five years experience in a health care environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with medical office and surgical booking procedures and medical terminology. Knowledge of Excel, Word, EPIC and Cerner required. Must have excellent secretarial, interpersonal and communications skills. Must be proficient in the English language, bi-lingual preferred.
