Job Summary: The Imaging Assistant provides assistance to the Technologists in preparing the room and patients for exams, and providing general operational support. The incumbent transports patients, pulls film/paperwork for each exam, and keeps area clean and properly supplied. Assists in preparing for next day’s work, answers telephone calls, and performs other job-related duties as requested.

Specifications: High School graduate with two years experience in patient care position or graduate of Nursing Assistant Training program. Must obtain CPR Certification within six months and maintain on an annual basis. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with patients, as well as demonstrated cooperative attitude of teamwork and initiative. Proficiency in the English language required.
