Job Summary: The Utilization Review Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day activities involved in the planning and coordination of authorization from insurance companies for initial, concurrent, and discharge reviews for Partial Hospital, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient levels of care as needed. The UR Coordinator also assists with other necessary duties and responsibilities of the program, at the direction of the program manager.

Specifications: Masters level social work degree, with behavioral health experience in a psychiatric setting preferred. Must have excellent technological and computer/typing skills, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in the English language. At least two years of experience preferred in an organized Utilization Management Program or Peer Review Organization. Must have case management certification and/or knowledge of relevant perinatal mental health and psychiatry community resources.
