Kent Hospital is offering up to $25K sign on bonus for qualified candidates!
Primary Function: Pivotal resource for educational activities throughout the hospital, with a focus on clinical education.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and teach formal and informal educational activities among care providers consulting with masters prepared education specialists to assess the learning needs and evaluate the impact of learning activities. These activities include, but are not limited to formal and informal programs and “just in time” clinical education.
Serve as a clinical resource for patient care and disease related issues.
Manage educational projects utilizing critical thinking, problem solving, leadership
Skills, change and transition management strategies.
Serve as educational resource to managers and staff on clinical, hospital-wide,
Department specific issues including but not limited to orientation and special
Hospital-wide initiatives.
Serve on various hospital-wide committees as education content resource.
Participate as a team member on selected organization wide initiatives.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
Rhode Island Nursing License
BSN
Applicable Sub Specialty requirements below:
Women’s Care:
Minimum 2-3 years Med-Surg experience
3-5 years OB/GYN and Maternal Health experience
EFM certification required (or obtained within 12 months from date of hire
