Job Summary: The Union Medical Assistant (Bilingual) provides support in the clinical and office functions of the department. Duties include direct patient contact, maintaining office systems, and providing assistance in various clinical functions and procedures. Provides clerical support to staff and performs other job-related duties as may be required.
Specifications: High school graduate. Must have completed certification as a Medical Assistant. Required CPR certification and 3-5 years' experience in administrative/medical setting. Knowledge of medical terminology, computer competency, and strong typing skills needed. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity in working with all patient populations. Proficiency in the English language and flexibility in hours needed for possible weekends and evenings. Bilingual required, Spanish-language preferred.
