Job Summary: The Manager of Social Work directs and administers the Clinical Social Work program of the hospital, including clinical oversight, program development and collaboration across the hospital system and community stakeholders. Identifies and implements the new and ongoing initiatives related to the policy, quality and procedure detail of programs. Oversees the administrative aspects of the Interfaith Ministries Program of the hospital.
Specifications: Master’s degree in Social Work Current Rhode Island licensure at LICSW level required. NASW or NAPSW membership required. Five (5) years post-degree experience in a relevant and responsible capacity, including supervisory experience and administrative/program development responsibilities extending beyond students placement and casework activities is required. Perinatal clinical social work or related maternal child health clinical experience is strongly desired. Short-term crisis intervention experience is highly desirable.
