Job Summary: The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for assisting in the acquisition and recording of patient information for research projects. Assists in the recruitment of study participants. Administers study questionnaires and standardized assessments. Ensures the integrity of study data. Prepares and maintains study records, performs biospecimen collections, and enters data into databases. Reviews relevant literature to gather information and may participate in the development of research protocols. Maintains files, audio archive, procedures, verification and validation routines. Performs chart reviews. Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends and holidays, as required. Performs other related duties as requested.

Specifications: Bachelor’s degree required in the field of psychology, nursing, or related discipline; Master’s Degree preferred. Must have at least 1 year of experience with newborns and/or infants and families. Experience working in a hospital setting preferred. Must be warm and friendly and quick to build rapport with study participants and have previous research experience, including data collection and entry into a computer system.
