EEG Technologist Per Diem

Primary Function: Responsible for administering electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings.

Responsibilities:

-Perform EEG testing including routine EEG exams, sleep and cerebral silence readings. Perform measurement to ensure accurate electrode placement. Perform quality assurance monitoring.

-Recognize the effects of certain diseases and medications on wave form variability. Recognize and respond to seizure episodes.

-Maintain clean equipment and perform minor repairs. Maintain and order supplies as necessary to perform job.

-Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Specifications: Vocational/technical training and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
