Exciting opportunity for Human Resources/Technology experts to enhance, reengineer and rebuild the enterprise HR Information System program.

Partner with HR centers of excellence and operating unit partners to develop and implement the go forward HR technology strategy.

Design and build the HR Technology new team.

Job Summary:

The Director of HRIS/Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership for HRIS, HR Operations and HR Analytics. Working closely with key stakeholders, the HRIS leader will develop a strategy to optimize HRIS systems and processes to meet the workforce requirements and help drive, accuracy, efficiency, integrity, automation of data while achieving an experience that is simplified for the end users.

The HRIS director manages the design, development, implementation, maintenance, security, and compliance of the HRIS.

Lead and build a team of analysts and operational staff to optimize all people systems and transactions.

Responsible for leading the strategic utilization of HRIS and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to achieve operational effectiveness.

This role is responsible for the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the HRIS platform and systems with a focus on developing and maximizing the application(s) potential to enable business processes and effectively meet the business requirements.

Plays a key role in People reporting, organizing data, and creating dashboards to drive strategic decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of HRIS and HR Operations strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Collaborate with Sr. Leadership to identify HR technology needs and opportunities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to standardize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

2. HRIS Implementation and Management:
Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization and maintenance of Workday or similar HRIS platforms to meet the organization's needs.

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within HRIS.

Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of HRIS systems.

3. Process Reengineering:
Evaluate existing HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Support a culture of continuous improvement by streamlining and standardizing HR processes by leveraging technology solution, automation, efficiency, and self-service gains.

Lead the development and maintenance of critical integrations.

Lead process reengineering efforts to enhance productivity, accuracy, and user experience.

4. Data Analytics, Reporting and Decision Support:
Provide leadership in utilizing data analytics tools to gather, analyze, and interpret HR data for insights and decision-making.

Develop and maintain robust HR metrics and reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators and drive business decisions.

Partner with HR leadership and other stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions to complex HR challenges.

5. Center of HR Operations Management:
Manage a centralized HR Operations team responsible for transactional HR functions to improve effectiveness in employee data management, standardized processes in talent acquisition, on- boarding, benefits administration, and payroll.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Experience with managing a systemwide ERP (Workday) implementation within the last 3 years is required.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Extensive experience (8+ years) in HRIS management, HR Operations, or related roles, preferably in a healthcare setting working in complex and disjointed system environment.

Proven experience and/or certification in project management desired.

Strong background in process reengineering and continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Experience with Tableau is preferred.

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving organizational change.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
