- Directly support development of new initiatives across multiple operating units.

- Work closely with stakeholders including system Senior Leadership.

Work Location: The work location and schedule is "hybrid" with on-site availability in the greater Providence, RI area per need.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager manages one or more concurrent projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost to deliver specified requirements to meet the satisfaction of project stakeholders.

Using industry standard project management methodology and tools, the Project Manager ensures that all projects are properly defined, planned and executed by developing and receiving executive sponsor and/or stakeholder approval for all project related deliverables. accountability for the day to day operational aspects of multiple projects, as well as all strategic project decisions, and the development of project documentation is essential.

Project Manager proactively assists in identifying project dependencies and conflicts and provides leadership and guidance to project teams and performs other duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Ensures projects are properly scoped, including developing and receiving approval for project scope statements.

B. Develops reasonable project timelines identifying key components and updates on regular intervals.

C. Manages overall project work plan to ensure tasks are assigned, completed on time, and within budget.

D. Issues regular written project reports to respective stakeholders, executive sponsors, project team members etc. and disseminates clear and concise project information by keeping open and clear project communications.

E. Proactively identifies, tracks, manages, and successfully resolves project issues.

F. Consistently monitors project scope to avoid scope creep.

G. Proactively identifies, manages, mitigates, and escalates project risks.

H. Provides leadership to project team and guides them with goal setting, decision making, interdepartmental collaboration, and reconciles team conflicts.

I. Accountable for the identification of dependencies and integration between projects.

J. Performs other job related duties as required or requested.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 to 8 years experience in project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral presentation skills, ability to interact with and manage members of cross-functional teams, and possess strong organizational skills.

Knowledge and experience in project management lifecycle is a must.

Healthcare background preferred, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory practice setting.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
