Job Summary:
Butler Hospital is seeking a Licensed Independent Professional to join their Outpatient Behavioral Health Program. The Clinical Therapist will provide care to patients who present with a wide variety of issues in the individual, family, couple or group settings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Responsibilities as a Clinical Therapist:
Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned patients.
Complete record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other contractual requirements
Maintain cooperative relationships with other employees, patients and the public.
Maintain licensure by completing required CEUs.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Independent license is required
The Clinical Therapist must be organized, able to function in a calm manner during crisis situations and have demonstrated sound clinical judgment.
3- five years’ experience in a healthcare is preferred
EDUCATION:
Master’s degree and Independent licensure required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT and LCDP)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively with consumers, clinical personnel at the hospital and other agencies, and Center staff.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
