Job Summary:

The Oncology Service-line Clinical Nurse Director has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the nursing administration and nursing clinical practice within the Oncology Service-line. Maintains established service-line policies and procedures and develops and initiates goals and objectives that are consistent with and support the goals of the service-line. The Oncology Service-line Clinical Nurse Director must demonstrate an understanding and commitment to quality health care for patients and families, recognizing their unique backgrounds and needs.

Specifications:

Master's degree in nursing preferred. Current licensure with the State of Rhode Island as a Registered Nurse. Must have current Oncology Nursing Society Certification. Progressive supervisory management experience in a hospital/health care environment or in the management of a physician's office desirable. Strong leadership and human relations skills required; must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of computer applications.
