Surgical Technologist Resident Program

We are offering the opportunity for the students to become Surgical Technologist Residents prior to graduating with their Surgical Technologist Degree.

In this training position, the Surgical Technologist Resident will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, while under supervision, handling instrumentation and anticipating the needs of the surgeon while maintaining aseptic techniques to AORN standards.

To qualify, you must be enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technologist program and with an anticipated graduation date within 8 months from a Surgical Technologist program.

Responsibilities:

Maintain skills and competencies required of the Surgical Technologist Resident position.

  1. Demonstrates working knowledge of service lines including use of specialized equipment.
  2. Complies with customer service requirements.
  3. Actively participates in QI programs.
  4. Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.
  5. Maintains and gathers supplies to perform job
