Kent Hospital Graduate Nurse Residency Program Overview
The Graduate Nurse Residency Program is unique in that it is specifically geared toward the new graduate who has limited experience as a nurse and focuses on helping to develop the new graduate into assimilating into the role of the professional nurse while at the same time obtaining additional educational training.
The program includes dedicated bi-weekly didactic education class sessions along with hands on experience working closely on one’s assigned unit with a dedicated preceptor.
This program offers the new graduate an opportunity to grow professionally and to assimilate into the role of the professional nurse.
