Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager and nursing leaders share the accountability and responsibility for a direct care unit or units. The nurse manager provides the vital link between the administrative strategic plan and the point of care. The nurse manager is responsible for creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement. The role is influential; in creating a professional environment and fostering a culture where interdisciplinary team members’ area able to contribute to optimal patient outcomes and grow professionally.
Specifications:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters degree or proof of academic achievement toward a Masters degree in Nursing or related field and must be currently enrolled in a Masters program with a targeted date of completion preferred.
Current licensure with the State of Rhode Island as a registered nurse
