Primary Function
The Volunteer Services Manager is a dynamic and strategic leader responsible for the ground-up revival, development, and expansion of a robust, system-wide volunteer program at Kent Hospital. This individual acts as the chief architect of volunteer engagement, creating a vibrant corps of passionate community members dedicated to enhancing the patient and family experience.
The Manager designs and deploys innovative, demand-driven volunteer programs that provide meaningful support to the Emergency Department, Inpatient units, Outpatient clinics, and Surgical services. A key leadership function of this role includes co-chairing the hospital's Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), translating patient feedback into actionable improvements. This position is central to sourcing, managing, and inspiring our volunteer talent to ensure their contributions are seamlessly integrated and highly impactful across all hospital service lines.
