Position Description:

Under the direction of the Hyperbaric Supervisor, Program Nurse Manager, and the Medical Director of the Wound Recovery Center or the attending Hyperbaric physician, the Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to Wound Care patients as well as patients receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). The RN is responsible for the operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related systems and equipment, and for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using age-specific criteria. The RN practices autonomously within the scope of the State Practice Act and in compliance with all Wound Recovery Center, WRHMC, and Kent Hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
