Women & Infants Hospital, one of the nation’s premier specialty centers for women and newborns, is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our newly opened 21-bed Med/Surg unit, dedicated to providing comprehensive post-surgical and medical care for women.

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Eight 12-hour shifts per 4-week block, with up to 50% night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) and rotating weekends/holidays
• Patient Load: Low acuity, averaging 6–10 patients per day
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with Women & Infants and Brown University sub-specialty physicians
• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Admissions
  • Health histories and physical exams
  • Consults as requested
  • Ongoing medical management
  • Participation in the medical emergency response team
• : Fully integrated EPIC EMR system
• Qualifications:
  • BE/BC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
