Security Coordinator Per Diem

Primary Function: The Security Operations Coordinator works in collaboration with other departments to provide an efficient badging, visitor control, access control, receiving and delivering security related calls, screens and directs telephone calls to the appropriate departments.

Responsibilities:

Data collecting for the department.

Orders taxis and prepares vouchers.

Coordinates all emergencies and notifies appropriate personnel.

Observes all relevant risk management and infection control policies and procedures and any applicable quality improvement activities.

Attends orientation and ongoing in-service education as required.

Performs such other tasks as assigned by the Director of Security, Security Supervisor, Security Lead Officers.

Provide a safe and therapeutic environment as the Security operations support coordinator through observation monitoring, interacting with staff.

Education: Associates degree in any field or applicable experience in this field.

Training and Experience: Experience working with activity based groups preferred. Excellent communication skills required and the ability to work with others in a collaborative manner. Creative and flexible.
