Job Summary:

The Providence Center Manager, Anchor Recovery Community Center will manage the daily operations of the Warwick Recovery Community Center; and support/supervise the onsite Peer Recovery Coaching staff and supervise Employment Specialists.

The Manager will oversee scheduling for daily recovery support activities, and will promote these services through community outreach and educational forums. Other duties include coordination of staff training and conducting training presentations.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage the daily operations and activities of the Anchor Recovery Community Center in Warwick.

Provide weekly supervision for Anchor Warwick Recovery Community Center staff.

Manage procedures, systems of continuous improvement, metrics and outcomes.

Oversee the expenditures for the Anchor Warwick Recovery Community Center.

Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must possess personal knowledge of addictions and recovery, as well as treatment and recovery support services. Must be a person with lived experience of recovery, with minimum of 2 years of continuous recovery.

Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.

Minimum of 5 years experience working in a recovery support setting.

Knowledge of national trends in recovery advocacy and recovery support services.

Prior supervisory experience and computer experience required.

Must have experience as a trainer and demonstrate positive communication skills, in spoken and written forms.

RI State certified Recovery Coach or plan to complete this within first year.

CPRS required. CADC/LCDP/CCHW preferred.
