Neuromodulation Research Assistant FT Days

Job Summary: The position involves using noninvasive brain stimulation methods and interacting with participants in clinical trials who may receive investigational treatments. Specific projects include utilizing techniques such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Transcranial Electric Stimulation (TES) on healthy individuals and those with neuropsychiatric disorders or in healthy controls. Other tasks may include measuring neural circuitry through motor-evoked potentials (MEP), obtaining electroencephalogram (EEG), MRI, or other forms of biophysiological monitoring.

Primary responsibilities include participant recruitment and screening, subject engagement, data collection and management, clinical assessments, administration of various cognitive, behavioral assessments,and processing of brain imaging data (MRI, EEG).

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience or related field is preferred.

Technically-inclined applicants with previous experience in neurophysiology, neuroimaging data, and/or coding and analyzing of data is strongly preferred. Experience with psychology and/or psychiatric research populations may be helpful.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, flexible, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as within a team setting on multiple projects and tasks.

Schedule: 40/80 Full Time Days (Mon-Fri)
