Job Summary:

Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions.

Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patient at the point of admission.

Assists Pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.

Requirements:

High school graduate

Training and Experience: Preferably a graduate of Pharmacy Technician Training Program

Special Qualifications: Must Have Rhode Island Pharmacist Technician II License. Skills in Math, typing, and computers are necessary.

Schedule: Part Time 8/16 - Every Other Weekend 2:30p-11p
