Job Summary:

The Clinical Research Assistant II, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and/or senior study staff collects, processes, and enters research data in support of specified research projects. Following established protocols and procedures, they will carry out study activities and recruit and follow research subjects, as appropriate to the study objectives. Perform basic descriptive analysis. The Clinical Research Assistant II, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and/or senior study staff collects, enters, and processes research data in support of specified research projects following established protocols and procedures. Half of the time the Clinical Research Assistant II will work on an NIH funded study of development in infants who experience withdrawal (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome or NAS) due to prenatal opioid exposure. . The other half of the time the Clinical research Assistant II will work on an NIH funded study using existing data collected on preterm infants. A successful candidate for the position of Clinical Research Assistant II should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for contributing to scientific research.

Research Project Summary: Project details to be provided at time of opportunity posting by the Research team.

Specifications: Bachelor's degree required. Basic computer skills, e.g. familiarity with Microsoft software, completing spreadsheet/data entry. Ability to work with diverse populations and support an inclusive, culturally responsive environment.
