Job Summary: The PDDH Care Coordinator performs psycho-therapeutic evaluations, provides direct clinical services, and assesses on-going needs of patients and their families in the Post Partum Disorders Partial Hospital. Provides back up to the department for the coordination in efficient prioritization for case management, scheduling and processing.Performs administrative functions involving insurance/managed care companies, and participates in planning, outreach, and training activities.

Specifications: Masters Degree and licensure as a social worker in the state of Rhode Island with one to three years of related experience required. Attainment of an LICSW or ICSW in the state of Rhode Island must be obtained within two years of hire. A minimum of three years post graduate clinical experience in infant/child development, postpartum disorders, and parenting skills, including assessment, direct service and consultation with families and professionals preferred. Experience in group therapy format and interpersonal psychotherapy techniques required.
