Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Hospital staff, patients and visitors as well as ensuring the physical security of all Hospital buildings and equipment. Interact with visitors, patients and staff in a professional courteous manner. Observe and enforce all hospital policies, rules and regulations. Observe visitors and patients. Manage any unusual circumstances or difficulties. Maintain visitor control inside and outside of the hospital. Assist with Codes and Stats. Restrain patients when needed and watch for future disturbances. Conduct routine door checks. Maintain logs and reports. Monitor cameras and alarms as needed. Follow emergency procedures for bomb threats code 99 or helicopter pad landings. Make emergency deliveries or pick-up of medication, organs and blood and provide Vehicle transportation for patients, visitors and employees as required. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Specifications: A High school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent are required. Valid driver’s license required.
