Maintains and cares for hospital grounds including lawns, shrubbery, flowers, roadways, and snow removal.
Mows lawns, trims hedges, and rakes and removes leaves and refuse.
Plants and maintains flower beds, bushes, trees, etc…
Shovels and/or plows snow.
Applies insecticides as directed.
Administers water supply when required.
Moves furniture and equipment as requested.
Operates equipment, i.e. tractors and trucks.
Removes trash.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Observes all relevant risk management and infection control policies and procedures, and any applicable quality improvement activities.
Attends orientation and ongoing in-service education as required.
Observes all general hospital policies, guiding principles, and rules and regulations.
