The Patient Financial Coordinator handles all billing processes and provides administrative support to department. The incumbent greets patients, obtains personal and financial data, and provides financial counseling. Gathers and processes professional billing, serves as a resource to patients, physicians, and third-party payers, and as liaison to the Professional Billing Office (PBO). Provides administrative support such as maintaining database and preparing reports.

Specifications:

Bachelors degree or high school graduate with three to five years experience in patient registration, credit and collections, or financial counseling in a hospital environment. Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, working knowledge of personal computers, strong analytical skills, and flexibility in work schedule. Must be proficient in the English language.
