Job Summary:

Nurse Manager-nurse leaders with 24 hour accountability and responsibility for a direct care unit or units-provide the vital link between the administrative strategic plan and the point of care. The nurse manager is responsible for creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement. The role is influential; in creating a professional environment and fostering a culture where interdisciplinary team members’ area able to contribute to optimal patient outcomes and grow professionally.

Specifications:

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Masters degree or proof of academic achievement toward a Masters degree in Nursing or related field and must be currently enrolled in a Masters program with a targeted date of completion preferred. Current licensure with the State of Rhode Island as a registered nurse.

Must have Operating Room Experience, able to scrub and circulate, and knowledge of PACU and Ambulatory Surgery. Certification preferred.
