Care New England, a fully integrated health system serving residents throughout Rhode Island is seeking Surgical Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. Located just west of Providence, Kent Hospital has 350 beds and is the largest community hospital in Rhode Island.

Position Highlights

• Full scope surgical role, including OR assisting and inpatient management
• Perform admissions, discharges, consults and daily rounding
• Prior experience with OR assist, central line and chest tube insertion a plus
• Bedside procedures include nasogastric tube, wound vacuum and chest tube placement
• Three 12-hour shifts (6 am – 6 pm) with shared weekend and holiday shifts
