Job Summary:

The Director of Medical Staff Office Services is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the Medical Staff Office functions across Care New England.

- Reporting to the Chief Medical Officers for Kent Hospital and Women & Infants, the Director is responsible for maintaining medical staff compliance with the Joint Commission Accreditation standards, Federal & State regulations and the Medical Staff Associations Bylaws / Rules and Regulations.

- The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the credentialing and privileging activities for all operating unit locations.

Education: Bachelor’s (Master’s Preferred)

Experience Minimum of 5 to 7 Years

Specifications:

Must possess demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills; thorough knowledge of accreditation standards as well as other state and federal regulatory requirements; ability to work well with individuals at all levels within the institution; and strong computer skills.

Must have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ECHO medical staff database technology experience. Maintain Board Certification with National Association of Medical Staff Services every three years.
