Bone Density Technician Per Diem

Job Summary: The Bone Density Technician performs diagnostic DXA procedures and related administrative support for the department. Demonstrates an understanding of clinical programs. Collects appropriate medical history and performs required DXA procedures. The incumbent assesses the findings and assists the physicians in their interpretation. Generates a report of results and their interpretations. Provides supports in maintaining area and supplies, and performs other job-related duties as requested.

Specifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as a radiographer in the State of Rhode Island. Registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Certification from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry preferred. Proficiency in the English language required.
