Job Title:           Housing Stabilization Coordinator     

Division:            Housing Department

Department:      Residential Services                               

Reports To:        Housing Manager

 

SUMMARY
Provide administrative support for the Providence Centerís housing department. Provide Housing stabilization services to participants. Complete filing, documentation preparation and use/development of spreadsheets in Excel part of daily work.  Date entry and management for Medicaid portal for billing, verify insurance coverage, opening participants in EPIC, and coordinate referrals for supportive services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 

Perform a variety of duties to support consumers and to staff in the department.

 

Perform tasks to support the department, such as ordering supplies from various vendors, typing purchase orders, processing work requests, etc.

 

 

 

Cover as needed for other staff during staff vacancies, absences, vacations, leave of absences, etc. Work a flexible schedule to include some evenings and travel between locations.

 

Maintain cooperative relationships with other employees, consumers and the public.

Attend trainings and conferences, participate on Center committees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in the Human Services field. Good organizational skills a must. Must be able to work with a diverse population and be comfortable interacting with our clients and outside agencies. Excellent communication skills required. Strong computer skills are required, including knowledge of Excel to create spreadsheets with the use formulas.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to consumers and employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
