Reports To: Director of Acute Care Services

SUMMARY

Lead a behavioral health team of on-site and on-call clinicians working at the Center, in the community, and Kent Hospital Emergency Department providing behavioral health services and crisis assessment to consumers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES:

Serve on appropriate Center committees.

Provide mental health consultation to other community agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree in Counseling/Social Work or related field or Registered Nurse (RN). License and/or QMHP Preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with consumers, community agencies and Center employees.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Insured auto and valid driver's license. RN, LICSW and/or LMHC preferred but not required. QMHP Preferred. Will need to obtain QMHP upon hire.
