The LOA Administrator is responsible for approving, denying, monitoring, and following up on the entire leave of absence (LOA) process. This process includes working with the Employee Health (EH) Practitioners to determine the medical necessity of the LOA, as well as continuous communication with employees regarding LOA requests, extensions, and returns fro, LOA. While maintaining confidentiality, the LOA Administrator is responsible for keeping timekeepers, staffers, managers, HR and Payroll up to date on each employee's LOA and completing the appropriate forms accordingly. Additionally, the LOA Administrator will complete disciplinary documents for employees who are non-compliant with the LOA policy. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the Hospital is compliant with all state and federal laws, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Worker's Compensation Act.

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of five years experience in related field, supervisory experience highly desirable. RN or Case Management experience helpful. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees, management and executive management. Must have excellent computer skills.
