The Associate Help Desk Analyst assists in providing primary telephone support and secondary overall support to internal and external users of systems or software. The incumbent receives, identifies, and prioritizes requests for help from areas supported by Information Services, handles routine problems, and forwards complex issues to appropriate staff member. Maintains E-mail and Help Desk data base, and performs other job-related duties as requested. The incumbent receives, identifies, and prioritizes requests for help from areas supported by Information Services, handles routine problems, and forwards complex issues to appropriate staff member. Maintains E-mail and Help Desk data base, and performs other job-related duties as requested. Specifications: Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in computer hardware and/or software support preferred. Enrollment in a formal education program in computer field and demonstrated working knowledge of various desktop software used by CNE operating units also acceptable. Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong communications and interpersonal skills.
