Position Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as a consultant to operations on human resource related issues within a specific operational area or physical location defined by the Care New England organizational structure. Successful Senior HR Business Partners are employee champions and change agents. This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing the strategic HR direction at the guidance of the Sr. Leadership in the areas of recruitment, training and development, change management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. Partners and collaborates with on-site HR colleagues and members of the centralized corporate HR team members. Is a principal contributor and key HR liaison in providing HR support and services to hospital operations and clinical leaders.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred. Juris Doctorate highly desirable with experience in labor/employment law, HR, Business Management, or other related field. Five to seven years’ progressive experience in Human Resources, Labor/Employee Relations, management education, training and or development preferably in the healthcare industry. Highly skilled in conflict resolution is required as well as excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants who possess extensive labor relations experience in organizations where the majority of workforce is unionized are encouraged to apply. Individuals who have contributed in culture change, employee engagement and management training and development initiatives are highly sought after.
