Provide peer recovery coaching support and recovery classes for men in the Adult Correctional Facilities.

Responsibilities:

Works collaboratively with other Anchor Peer Recovery Health Navigators who assist with re-entry support.

Peer Recovery Support Specialist will provide peer recovery coaching at Anchor Recovery Community Center.

Provide group and individual peer recovery coaching for men housed at Adult Correctional Facilities.

Provide appropriate referrals to these participants, as inmates and as they prepare for discharge.

Provide Narcan education and instruction, prior to release from the ACI.

Complete all required documentation including progress notes, recovery support plans, insurance information, progress and referrals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.  Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus.

Certificate or willingness to work towards becoming a State Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.

Two years of continuous recovery time.

Must demonstrate an understanding in the recovery process and Recovery Oriented Systems of Care model.

Must be computer literate with experience in Excel.

Valid driver’s license and insured auto.

Must be eligible for DOC (Dept. of Corrections) clearance.

Schedule, Part time: Tuesday & Thursday: 12:00PM – 4:30PM; Wednesday: 8:00AM – 12:30PM; Friday: 8:00AM – 1:15PM
