Job Summary: The Per Diem Staff Instructor for Nursing is responsible for conducting the orientation and in-service education programs for Nursing Services through assessment of needs, tailoring of programs, and effective delivery demonstrating expertise in methodologies and techniques.
Specifications: Master's Degree in Nursing preferred; BS with work-in-progress toward MS degree acceptable. Must have current licensure in the State of Rhode Island with 5-7 years experience as a practicing RN in appropriate specialty area. Must have and maintain certifications required for clinical area, which may include NRP instructor, ACLS Certified, CRP instructor (as required, within 6 months), IV/Venipuncture Certified. Teaching experience and critical care experience highly desirable.
