Job Summary:
The Manager of Finance is the financial lead for the VNA, reporting directly to the Director of Finance and supporting the Vice President of Finance at Kent Hospital. The individual in this role will be responsible for having in-depth knowledge of all financial aspects of the VNA, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. They will also work closely with the Director to establish and uphold a culture of financial responsibility that contributes value to the organization. Additionally, they will collaborate with various departments and the CNE Finance team to achieve shared objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
At the direction of the Director, provides financial support and leadership in (4) major areas:
Director Support
Leadership Team Support
Financial Analysis and Reporting / CNE Corporate Finance
Special Projects
• Performs other job related duties as requested
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, Masters preferred.
Must have 3-5 years financial experience, preferably in healthcare industry. Academic and research experience preferred.
Excellent judgment as well as critical, strategic, and analytical thinking required.
