Job Summary:
With General Guidance, the Medical Staff Coordinator provides vital administrative support to colleagues and leadership, ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of credentialing processes for physicians and licensed healthcare professionals across the Care New England Health System
Duties and Responsibilities:
Send, receive, and review initial applications and reappointment applications, and request missing information.
Track license and certification expirations to confirm renewals.
Perform online primary source verifications, as directed.
Prepare verification letters, as directed.
Perform administrative functions such as ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, preparing medical staff communications, and attending staff meetings.
Apply knowledge, expertise, sound judgment and consult with team members as necessary to resolve questions or concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
