Job Summary:

We are seeking a Risk Management/Workers' Compensation Coordinator to be responsible for the coordination and performance of various operational functions within the Department, including assistance on the Insurance/Indemnification programs and the CNE Workers Compensation Program. Requires a thorough knowledge of the Department Responsibilities to facilitate flow of information and serve as a resource

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists the Risk Management department in office management functions such as coordination and scheduling of meetings, preparation of correspondence and presentation materials, maintenance of departmental policies and procedures, processing invoices and purchasing of supplies.

Assists the Director of Worker’s Compensation in the overall operation of the workers’ compensation program including but not limited to scheduling and attendance at claim meetings, processing reports, maintaining case files, updating self-insurance information and participation in education and loss prevention initiatives.

Monitors the CNE Workers’ Compensation website for annual updates and changes in information and participates in the development of content.

Assists in the preparation of statistical and qualitative reports for dissemination to System/Affiliate representatives.

Supports risk control programs/processes for the self-insurance programs including supporting/community/employed physicians and employees including but not limited to auditing compliance with approved policies/guidelines.

Performs office and administrative support functions, including receiving visitors, handling telephone calls, preparation of correspondence and minutes, processing mail and maintaining filing systems.

Preserves and protects patient and employee rights to confidentiality. Performs other job-related duties as required or requested.

Requirements:

-Associate's Degree in Healthcare, insurance or business.

Experience in workers' compensation claims management and risk management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information. Able to work independently and also as part of a team.
