Job Description:
Full-time position working for Affinity Physicians, LLC d/b/a Care New England Medical Group, LLC, 4 Richmond Square, 4th Floor, Providence, RI, providing Hospitalist services at Kent County Memorial Hospital (KCMH), 455 Toll Gate Road, Warwick, RI. Hospitalist duties include conducting initial patient assessments and admissions, formulating and implementing treatment plans, scheduling and reviewing clinical and diagnostic tests, providing updates to primary care physicians and family members, conducting multiple rounds daily as necessary for the acuity of patients’ conditions, coordinating and integrating specialty and subspecialty consultations, coordinating patient transfers to and from the ICU, medical/surgical unit, and or skilled nursing facilities, and coordinating discharge planning and performing administrative duties related to position. Position also provides Infectious Diseases services at KCMH and Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, 101 Dudley Street, Providence, RI. Shifts and schedule as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent, Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and eligibility for a Rhode Island medical license. Salary range for this position is $225,000-$250,000 per year. [please confirm a salary range that will encompass any anticipated increase in next 12 months].
